Oh, Samples!

I recently asked Jane Iredale if they could provide sample swatches of lipcolors. I was/am interested in their products, alas no where near me sales them. Fast forward to today...they arrived! And not just a catalog with swatches, but sample lipcolors! I've gotta recharge my camera battery, and I'll post them later.

 These are the shimmery shades.

Overall I like it. The shadows are smooth, and not flaky, which can sometimes happen with cheaper shadows. The few that have shimmer are soft, as well.

Pantone...

This is the first time I've cared about Pantone. I love green! And guess what? The color of the year is...Emerald Green! I love to wear it as clothing and jewelry...not s much as makeup. I'm not sure HOW exactly to do anything with it.

I once heard that emerald green is one of the most universal color, that it looks fabulous on everyone, regardless of skintone, eye color, hair color, or age.
